AC Cardstock Legend

I’ve got a useful little tool for you guys today! For those of you that don’t know, we include a supply list with all of our paid products as well as most of our freebies. The supply list (located in the Supply List section below the main product image) tells you exactly how many sheets of paper you need to create the project. And we also indicate the American Crafts AC Cardstock color in the description.

This information is great if you have a swatch, but we realize that not everyone does, so we’ve put together this handy printable swatch that you can reference to help you pick out your papers. Even if you don’t have the matching American Crafts cardstock, you can find something comparable in your stash of papers by just putting your paper up to this swatch!

Thanks so much for this color chart…I can certainly use it, I don’t know of another one like this. I have all of the packs of American crafts paper and often wondered about the color names….Again, thanks for taking the time to share this…

Thanks so much for the color key chart. A great help. I made something like this for my stamping markers too.

Thank you Leo that is such a useful tool to have at hand. I have laminated mine to keep it clean when near inks etc

Perfect reference! Just a couple of questions though. Why are there color repeats with 2 different SKUs? E.g. Peacock and Marine Blue. Does one have a textured surface? How do you know which to order?

    • Leo Kowal says:

Hi Penny! It’s possible that they changed an internal process and the colors are available under both skews. All of the colors listed are textured. Either SKU should work. I’d imagine by now one of the SKUs is defunct.

Hi Leo, what kind of glue do you use? The glue I use tends to warp the paper no matter how much I use.
By the way, thanks for the Penguin Freebie. Its super cute!
    Best Regards,

Thank you for this. I use paper from lots of companies. Some is paper I have collected from a while ago. Now I can make more accurate paper matches.
