Product reviews for Christmas Explosion Box SVG

Anything that combines Christmas and explosion box was bound to be a hit with me, and this was! As mentioned by another reviewer, I was also challenged by the direction in which some of the panels were cut (laid out to save paper, so I shouldn't complain). It took a little extra planning to find the right pattern that would look okay in both directions. Once I had my cardstock selected, it was a cinch to cut and assemble.

I've only made it once so far, but if I was to make it again, I may swap out the snowmen with other designs. These are cute enough but I'd like to give them to adults and the snowmen/women seem a little too cartoony for that purpose.

I needed something to put a personalized Christmas ornament in for a friend's grandchild. This was perfect. The little guy was totally excited.

After watching the tutorial, I was hooked. I made 10 for a Christmas party. I changed some of the snowmen/snow women for Father Christmas and Christmas Teddies and Christmas trees. I found it easy to construct.

I loved making this box. I actually made 4 for center pieces for our Christmas party. I made a couple of changes to the interior, I put alternating trees with the snowman, instead of the female snow person. I also had to make some changes to the svg file because the paper on the outside had an up side and need to be all cut in one direction. I also could not find the snowflake paper so I made my own. I had shimmer white and stuck glitter vinyl stickers on it and then cut the panel. I love the files on this web site and the fact that there are instructional videos make these projects fun and enjoyable to make.

It's an awesome gift!  Easy to construct.  The only problem is finding a place to show it off.....and to allow it to unfold fully.  It is quite large when unfolded.    I liked the cute snowmen, but decided to replace them with Christmas trees, which I cut using the library file on my machine, and then adapting the hinge portion of the snowmen, so that the trees would stand up like the snowmen do.    This was a fun project to make.
